Blue Heron Sock Plus

Sock Plus from Blue Heron is a beautiful, plump Sport Weight sock yarn base, adaptable to 4 Ply Fingering sock patterns. Sock Plus has a slightly rustic feel to the hand with 85% Superwash Wool + 20% Nylon for practical care socks, shawls and sweaters.  These colours are in limited supply due to a temporary production hiatus. 

• 80% Superwash Wool + 20% Nylon base

• 3.5oz = 420yd or 100g = 384m skein

• Gauge: 28 sts = 4" using US#3/3.25mm needle

• Sport Weight Yarn

• Hand dyed

• 1 skein makes an adult pair of socks (2 skeins required if you have mens size 12+ or prefer a longer leg section)

• Machine wash gentle cycle, tumble dry low heat or air dry to maintain fabric

Note: Can be knit on a larger needle size for shawls and garments, such as the Boxy Pullover by Joji Locatelli. 5 skeins required for that project. As with all hand dyed products, each skein of Blue Heron yarn is one of a kind and it is expected there will be variations in colour and hue from one skein to the next.
