Prism Stuff Yarn Collection

Prism Stuff is a unique yarn developed by Laura Bryant of Prism Yarns that consists of 20+ yarns in a variety of fibres and textures, all hand tied in unique sequences then hand dyed to create the most stunning skein of yarn you will ever knit with. A treat for the senses for those who love texture, colour and creating unique, one-of-a-kind projects to wear or as gifts.

Prism Stuff knits up in a gauge range of 22-18 stitches per 10cm/4" depending on needle size and your personal knitting style, on needles 4.5mm/US7 thru 6mm/US10.5. Larger needle sizes produce the most amazing Lacey open work fabric just with garter stitch and elongated stitches using size 8mm, 10mm and 12mm needles.

Prism Stuff is available in the following 5 categories:

• Prism Wild Stuff™: as the name suggests, this is a wild and texturally varied composition containing brushed mohair, eyelash fancy, textured poly/rayon, smooth shiny silk, plump lush wool and cashmere. Wild Stuff™ is sold in multi-colour variegate colours with longer colour repeats in a stunning array of shades.

• Prism Neat Stuff: similar in composition to Wild Stuff but no eyelash or plume-like highly textured yarns and in a limited colour palette.

• Prism Cool Stuff: perfect for people who cannot tolerate animal fibres or live in warmer climates where only cool fibres will do. Colourful and beautifully cool to the touch with emphasis on cotton, rayon, linen, poly, nylon and silks.

• Prism Layers™ Stuff: this is a tonal semi-solid hand dye process developed by Prism and the colours are absolutely luscious and unique.

• Prism Impressions™: this is the Bulky version of Stuff, available only in 4 colours, with the Midnight shade being my favourite as the colours are rich black, dark teal, navy, aubergine, loam with the addition of silk ribbon added to the yarn varieties use to create these truly one-of-a-kind skeins. One 79yd skein makes a fabulous scarf, keep it simple in Garter Stitch to let the unique yarns and colours shine!

Prism Stuff is sold in 2 size of skeins:

• 150 yard "half skeins" priced at $65 each. This size is our primary inventory. 

• 300 yard "full skeins" priced at $130 each. Available in very limited colours.
