Bamboo Organic Cotton: Early Meadow is a hand dyed yarn base from Blue Heron Yarns known for its soft texture, drape, and subtle sheen due to the blending of cotton and rayon, sourced from bamboo fibres. A great alternative to merino wool, especially for people with sensitive skin. An excellent choice for garments and accessories.

• Composition: 51% certified organic cotton and 49% rayon from bamboo
• Yardage: The skeins offer a generous 495yd/4oz or 452m/113g skein
• 4Ply Fingering Weight Yarn: depending on the needle size and your knitting method you can achieve a variety of gauges
• Needle Size: US #3-#5 or 3.25mm-3.75mm ... can use up to a 4.5mm for a more relaxed, open look and lace work
• Excellent for hand knitting, crochet, weaving and machine knitting
