This is the last skein of the original "denim" colour for Bulky Rayon Chenille prior to Blue Heron changing it in 2025. No pale denim, just gorgeous, rich, medium tones (and note to Demian if you're reading this - please bring this back! You can have both versions!)

1 skein makes a gorgeous neck scarf.

  • 100% Rayon - hand dyed

  • 228m/240g or 250yds/8.4oz per skein

  • Colourfast, hand dyed

  • Suggested needle size is a 4mm/US6 - 5mm/US8 Chenille needs to be knit at a firm gauge to help set the fabric.

  • This yarn can be "fulled" by placing knitted Bulky Rayon Chenille in the washing machine on gentle cycle in hot water for 2 minutes and spin dry. Then place in a dryer with a terry bath towel on highest heat setting and tumble for up to 1.5 hours, or until completely dry. Produces the most beautiful, velvety drape to the knit fabric.

  • Blue Heron is on hiatus and all dye production has been stopped until further notice so limited quantities of their gorgeous hand dyed yarn remain.
