Soft hand dyed 100% Cotton spun in a "Light Fingering" weight (what used to be called 3Ply Fingering) knitting to 32sts/4" or 10cm using size 3.5-3.75mm/US4-5 needles.

• a generous 1050yds/8oz    960m/226g per skein  •Hand wash/lay flat to dry

• Gauge: 32sts/10cm - this yarn falls between lace weight and 4Ply Fingering and so Blue Heron suggests size 3.5-3.75mm/US4-5 needles - be sure to swatch! 

1 skein to make a generous size shawl, or a car seat newborn size baby blanket. 2 skeins for anything larger so if you want to make a blanky they can drag around as a toddler, buy 2. You have to wind this into a "cake" or ball before using.

Great product for hand knitting, crochet, weaving and machine knitting. 

Note to the Wise: This is a hand wash/lay flat product but the smart maker knows that if you throw your swatch in the washer and dryer with a regular load of washing, steam it and then measure, you can then "gauge" the shrink factor and see if it passes the Signature Yarns Practical Care test!
