CARDIFF CASHMERE CLASSIC 647 Midnight: our dark navy blue double knitting weight 100% cashmere yarn for hand knitting, crochet, weaving and machine knitting. Spun in Biella, Italy. 2 balls makes the ever popular "Sophie Scarf" by Petite Knits.

• 100% Cashmere, spun in Biella, Italy • Double Knitting (DK) weight yarn • gauge: 22sts per 10cm/4" using a 4mm/US6 needle • 112 m/25g  122yd/0.88oz

Please Note! Cashmere stitches require some room for the fibres to "bloom" or fluff up as cashmere will do, so I always insist customers swatch with this yarn prior to starting a project to determine the best needle size for your personal tension/knitting style and it can range from needles sizes US4/3.5mm thru US7/4.5mm. Then wash, wet block, dry, then measure.

Washing/Care: this Cashmere has already been washed and fulled at the Cardiff mill. Scouring in hot water not required. Hand wash only in 30c/86F tepid water using a mesh lingerie bag to support the garment/accessory in water, gently squeeze out excess water and block to shape on a flat surface to dry. ©Signature Yarns
